Roasted chestnuts, Balkan music and American history at BCF2 on Oct 12th!

Wyoming Farm in Clinton, Maryland is hosting the Second Annual Balkan Chestnut Festival on October 12th, 2019 from 10 am - 5pm. Join the celebration of our chestnut harvest at our historic farm with Balkan music, dance instruction, local wine, Balkan food, and roasted chestnuts!

We are delighted to present Zlatne Uste Balkan Brass Band as this year’s headlining band. They are the only American band to compete in the world famous Guca Trumpet competition in Serbia, and they are the founders of the Zlatne Uste Golden Festival in Brooklyn, NY that has been going on for over 30 years.

This harvest celebration is our opportunity to give back to the Balkan community that loves chestnuts by showing our love for Balkan music, food, and culture. Preceding the more than three hours of live music will be Balkan dance instruction by local partners so that everyone can join in the fun. Enjoy local wine from Olney winery, Balkan food provided by From Scratch LC food truck, and of course, cold beer and roasted chestnuts!
